What this product actually is This is not a grammar or creative writing class. This is a thinking-to-writing translation program.

  • Grades 8–12

  • Understand what makes writing persuasive and authentic

Course structure

The Writing Course is modular and progressive.
  • Foundation level (Grades 8–9)
  • Intermediate level (Grades 9–10)
  • Advanced level (Grades 11–12)

Each level runs for 10 weeks.

One session per week. 90 minutes.

Writing Course

Curriculum Pillars.

The entire curriculum sits on four pillars.
  • Thinking before writing - Students learn idea generation, questioning frameworks, and reflection techniques.
  • Structure and clarity - Introductions, arguments, flow, transitions, conclusions. No fluff tolerance.
  • Voice and authenticity - How to sound like yourself without oversharing or pretending.
  • Revision and feedback - Students learn how to edit. This is where maturity develops.

  • Personal narratives
  • Opinion essays
  • Reflective pieces
  • Analytical responses
  • Short research-based arguments
  • Mini personal statements (for older grades)
Session

Session Structure.

  • Concept focus - One clear writing principle per session.
  • Model analysis - Students read and dissect strong writing. Not to copy, but to understand why it works.
  • Writing sprint - Timed writing. No overthinking. This builds confidence.
  • Feedback loop - Peer feedback + facilitator feedback. Structured and respectful.
  • Revision task - Students revise outside class. Revision is non-negotiable.
Assessment

Assessment and Tracking .

Each student builds a writing portfolio across the course.

This portfolio later becomes

  • Essay raw material
  • Evidence of growth
  • A confidence anchor during applications

Implementation strategy

  • Strict cohort sizes. Max 8–10 students.
  • Writing mentors trained in admissions-style thinking.
  • Clear rubrics, but no marks.
  • Parents receive mid-course and end-course insights

Certificate of completion which can be later presented at the college level
