A 4-Week Mentorship for High School Students Who Want More Than Grades

High school shapes habits long before it shapes resumes. How students think. How they speak. How they read. How confidently they carry themselves into a room. This four-week internship is built for students who want to develop those foundations early, with guidance, structure, and real accountability. Not a camp. Not motivational talk. A serious mentorship focused on writing, communication, reading, and leadership.

The 4-Week Structure

Each student is part of a small cohort and works across four interconnected tracks. These are not isolated activities. They reinforce one another.

I. Writing Mentorship Program

What happens here

Students learn how to think through writing. They write regularly. They revise. They receive feedback that goes beyond grammar.

Focus areas:

This directly supports future essays, applications, and interviews.

II. The Confidence Workshop

What happens here

Students practice speaking in front of others, not once, but repeatedly. They learn how to organize ideas before speaking. They learn how to stay calm under attention.

Focus areas:

This is confidence built through repetition, not hype.

III. The Reading Circle

What happens here

Students read selected Books, short texts, essays, and excerpts. They discuss them. They learn how to extract ideas, question assumptions, and articulate interpretations.

Focus areas:

Strong readers become strong thinkers. This is where that begins.

IV. Foundations of Leadership Club

What happens here

Leadership here is not titles or speeches. It’s self-awareness, responsibility, and communication.

Focus areas:

This track helps students carry themselves with quiet assurance.
